I've never been any good with flowers.

I remember at school being given a clear pot with some soil and some sunflower seeds. cause of death? Drowning.

Since it is slowly coming up to what should be Logan's first birthday, which instead, is his anniversary, I wanted to do something to make home a little brighter, seeing as it will not be his smile doing so.

like i have said, I am awful with flowers. I wanted something easy, but something meaningful. I looked up 'August flowers' and came across gladioli and poppies.

I've always liked poppies. The symbol of remembrance, The colour of love,

Gladioli are the symbol of strength, and moral integrity. I have also read thay they represent infatuation. that the person who receives them has their heart pierced by passion. I am passionate. I am passionate about keeping my son and his memory with me. no matter what form.

I dont really have a garden (yet) either. its more like a dumping ground at the moment. Dan wants to turn it into a drive way, so im thinking if i fill it with flowers he wont be able to (hehe)

I currently have Gladioli, poppies, baby's breath and a hanging basket going.

I also have blue rose seeds in my fridge (Don't ask)

I can not wait to see my garden in a few months.

I have found my experience of so called gardening somewhat therapeutic, relaxing , calming.

Just remember...

"Every flower is a soul, Blossoming in nature"
